Providing Shelter to the Speechless With Mugshot Campaign

Igor Purlantov is an animal rights advocate who has a deep concern for animals and cares greatly about animal rights around the world. He works hard to raise awareness on issues such as animal abuse, neglect and poaching and puts a lot of effort into showing how much animals really do provide in our everyday life.

Mr. Igor Purlantov has been closely studying animal adoptions around the world. His research has led him to conclude that among all animals up for adoption, it is black dogs and cats that are the last to be adopted.  People generally do not prefer adopting them. There is even a term for this problem as it is known as “black dog syndrome”. To find a suitable shelter for these speechless animals has become a very difficult task.

Mr. Igor Purlantov says there are several factors that contribute to the lower adoption levels of these animals. There is a silly superstition that these animals are unlucky and also television and media wrongly portray these black cats and dogs as dangerous and horrifying. This prevents people from being attracted to these wonderful animals. Unfortunately it is also difficult to take very good and attractive pictures of black cats and dogs so there are fewer advertisements for these animals. People then do not notice them and are thus unable to appreciate how attractive and cute they really are in person.

According to Mr. Igor Purlantov people from animal shelters are now committed to combating the problem of black dog syndrome. They have come up with many creative ideas to encourage more people to adopt these cats and dogs. These efforts have been successful and have increased the adoption rates of these animals.

As part of these efforts, shelters have started mugshot campaigns for proper advertisement of these animals. This campaign provides best the pictures of the animals to make them stand out and attract more would be adopters. The shelters are using techniques like dressing up the animals, using colorful blankets or attractive backgrounds to brighten the images. Photographers like Mr Casteel have also launched programs to train volunteers to take mugshot pictures of the animals.

He is a man of great premonition, although he is far from being an astrologer.  His ability to forecast business trends and cycles is due in large part to his willingness and ability to read and learn from others.  He is constantly surrounding himself with knowledge and information from experts in various industries and sectors that are of interest to him.

Igor Purlantov: An Animal Rights Activist

Igor Purlantov believes one of the most important jobs of us humans is to take care of our animals. It is us who domesticated them, making them dependent upon us for food, shelter, and love. Unfortunately many people fail at their jobs as animal parents and defenseless animals are dumped on streets, left behind, neglected, and abused.

Some of the animals that are dumped on the streets are fortunately found, picked up and cared for by humane animal shelters. These shelters’ funds and resources are depleting faster than they can be raised. Igor Purlantov has written on animal advocacy and now is putting his knowledge into action.
Spartacus Foundation was sweetly named after Igor Purlantov’s beloved family cat. After dedicating much of his time and efforts, writing articles and blogs trying his best to raise awareness, Spartacus Foundation puts Igor Purlantov’s words into action. The goal is to raise money through individual and corporate donations to help the soldiers on the frontline, facing the issue of animal abuse and neglect head on.

Igor Purlantov knows the more money we raise for the charities and shelters that help these animals, the more we can help them remain open and obtain the supplies and staff they need to fully function. What many shelters need is more space, and that equates needing more money.

It is Igor Purlantov’s belief that if we all join the fight against abused animals that we can end this war. If we work together and help each other, we can likewise help animals that need it the most.

Igor Purlantov’s job is President of a Private Investment Firm. His passion is helping those in need, especially animals that are helpless in their struggle. The Spartacus Foundation was born from his desire to help and passion to make the world a better place.

South Korea's Growing GDP Intrigues Igor Purlantov

Igor Purlantov is one of many people interested in the global economy. Ignoring the boom of China, Japan has historically been the country with the largest GDP and purchasing power parity (PPP). Igor Purlantov is intrigued that South Korea is now on track to overtake the title of richest Asian country when measured by GDP and PPP.

Igor Purlantov explains that while China has the largest economy, Japan has long been the richest country. That will be overtaken by South Korea. Igor Purlantov knows Japan's rich economy was built by its quick industrialization in the 20th century. While multiple Asian countries like Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China have been quick to catch up, Igor Purlantov knows it is South Korea what will replace Japan in terms of GDP and PPP.

Igor Purlantov is confident in South Koreas growth based on using GDP and PPP as a gauge of the economy. The idea of a rich country is based off of the cost of living in each country and adjust their ratings accordingly. After looking at the economic numbers though, Igor Purlantov sees that almost all the Asian countries are slowly on track to overtake Japan. According to Igor Purlantov, looking at the rate of South Korea's GDP growth, South Korea will surpass Japan as the riches country in Asia by 2017.

What Igor Purlantov finds so astonishing is that in 1980, South Korea's GDP was less than one quarter of Japan's. According to Igor Purlantov, in 1980, South Korean companies like Hyundai, LG, and Samsung were unheard of outside South Korea's capital, Seoul. Igor Purlantov sees the economy as a major shift of power. Where Japan was once the powerhouse, Igor Purlantov sees South Korea as one of the largest emerging markets around the world.

Igor Purlantov Notices Decline of House Pets

Igor Purlantov is an animal rights supporter and blames the economy for the decline of household pets. According to Igor Purlantov, the United States has long been a leader when it comes to the number of households with pets. But by the end of 2011, American households had over 7 million fewer cats and 2 million fewer dogs than in 2006. Igor Purlantov explains this statistic comes from the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Igor Purlantov says the decline in household pets is two-fold. Not only is there a decline in two parent homes, but the stagnant economy and changing demographics has led to fewer pets being adopted. According to Igor Purlantov, this is the first decline in cat or dog households since 1991. The changing demographic includes couples without children and an aging population, both of which Igor Purlantov explains; "Are demographics that are less likely to have pets at home."

Despite the decline in household pets, there are more animal rescue groups and shelters across the United States. Igor Purlantov is thrilled that the majority of these shelters continue to be no-kill shelters. Igor Purlantov is hopeful that the decline in household pets is temporary. As an animal rights supporter, Igor Purlantov supports the no-kill policy and supports the spaying and neutering of pets.

Igor Purlantov says there are about 74 million cats and just under 70 million dogs in homes, but this is far below the 80 million cats and 80 million dogs that there were in 2006. Igor Purlantov hopes the trend of homeless cats and dogs will reverse. He is an advocate for pet adoption and educating pet parents on getting animals fixed in order to control pet population. Igor Purlantov hopes pet adoptions will increase to the rate prior to the 2006 decline.
